Akari is an “Okumidori” cultivar known for its rich, full-bodied taste and vibrant green color. It is crafted with the finest attention to detail, using only the first harvest of tea leaves for the purest flavour.

We are sourcing our matcha from an eight generation family-owned tea farm from Wazuka Town, Kyoto, a renowned region for premium tea production. Their tea leaves are carefully cultivated under shade for at least 20 days to bring out the perfect umami flavor. Produced in a full-scale Tencha factory, they ensure the highest quality by removing stems and veins before grinding, leaving only the best parts of the leaves for a truly exceptional matcha experience.

It offers a smooth, balanced taste with a delightful hint of nutty notes. It is also creamy and velvety on the palate, with a subtle astringency that enhances its clean finish. Great for everyday lattes.
